The Master's Degree in Ancient Books and Bibliographic Heritage is a degree that offers specialized training on the analysis, identification, treatment, management, conservation and digitization of ancient books, both medieval and modern, printed or manuscript, as well as on the uses and applications of bibliographic heritage in different professional and commercial, private fields and public. This postgraduate training offer aims to respond to the need of public and private institutions to organize, catalog, manage, digitize, and value their ancient bibliographic collections before society, as well as promote research by specialists, both academics as professionals. This official master's degree arises as a response to the growing academic, institutional, cultural and commercial interest in bibliographic heritage, being, for now, a unique offer in the Spanish university.

Admission Requirements
If you come from an EU country you must have a bachelor's degree from a Spanish university, or from a university in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
If you are a graduate from outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) you can access the university without the need to officially certify your degree, once the UCM has verified that your level of studies is equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a university in Spain. Access via this route does not in any case imply the official certification of your degree prior to starting your Masters course.
