The Double Degree in Teacher in Early Childhood Education - Teacher in Primary Education arises to respond to the educational demands raised by both the educational community and society. The proposed double degree allows reinforcing the training of future teachers in order for them to acquire both psycho-pedagogical and didactic knowledge and the development of skills and attitudes in the teaching-learning process of both educational stages. In addition, with the increase in the students' access grade, the aim is to achieve more competent and better trained professionals. With this double degree, the employment opportunities of future teachers are expanded and it enables them to integrate into the labor market as teachers in two stages of the educational system, which includes ages from 0 to 12 years. The University Center of the Complutense University of Madrid (Faculty of Education - Teacher Training Center), which requests the implementation of the Double Degree of Teacher in Early Childhood Education and Teacher in Primary Education, has a long experience in the implementation of the titles of Magisterium.

Admission Requirements

In the case of non-native Spanish speakers, according to the Agreement of the Governing Council of January 29, 2019 (BOUC of February 7, 2019), which approves the Spanish language requirements for admission to Degree and Master's degree and linguistic/language skills, all students from non-Spanish-speaking countries or educational systems must prove a knowledge of Spanish according to the CEFR level B2, at the time of submitting the application for admission to the Degree.
