The Degree in Audiovisual Communication is implemented in all the countries of the European Union, in centers attached to areas of Technological Institutes, Art, Humanities, Social Sciences, with a certain transversal progression. In all of them, from diverse but complementary perspectives, the aim is to train in everything that has to do with the audiovisual world. Audiovisual Communication has been consolidated over the years and in a more relevant way since the mid-twentieth century. From a social, cultural, political and economic perspective, media structures have been strengthened that have given value to the existence of these studies in the higher education field. The Faculty of Information Sciences is located on the Moncloa Campus next to the Ciudad Universitaria metro and has a bus stop with several lines. It has two buildings. In addition to classrooms (all with projection systems in various formats, computer and light control) and large common spaces with WIFI, it has function rooms, sets, editing rooms, sound studios, radio studios, computer rooms , digital printing, virtual campus, library, newspaper library, video library, bookstore, cafeteria, dining room, reprographics and extensive common sports facilities of the UCM.

Admission Requirements

To be admitted to this degree, you must meet the requirements for access to the University contemplated by current regulations: selectivity, International Baccalaureates, Validation agreements, access for people over 25 years of age, over 40 years of age, etc. You have all the details on the University Admissions page: ucm.es

In the case of non-native Spanish speakers, according to the Agreement of the Governing Council of January 29, 2019 (BOUC of February 7, 2019), which approves the Spanish language requirements for admission to Degree and Master's degree and linguistic/language skills, all students from non-Spanish-speaking countries or educational systems must prove a knowledge of Spanish according to the CEFR level B2, at the time of submitting the application for admission to the Degree.
