The Master's Degree in Ecosystem Restoration is a degree from the universities of Alcalá (coordinating university), Complutense, Polytechnic and Rey Juan Carlos, all of them from the Community of Madrid. Professors from various collaborating institutions and companies also participate. The teaching network promoting the Master is linked to REMEDINAL, a network of research groups on the natural environment of the aforementioned Community. It consists of 90 ECTS, 30 of them from regular compulsory subjects, 30 from optional subjects, 9 from compulsory External Internships and 6 from optional External Internships. The TFM is 15 ECTS. The Master is designed to be completed in three semesters. The master is both professional and research oriented , the latter aimed at the completion of a Doctoral Thesis. It is aimed at intermediate and higher graduates, as well as professionals from companies, administrations and the Third Sector interested in scientific and technical training in ecosystem restoration.

Admission Requirements

If you come from an EU country you must have a bachelor's degree from a Spanish university, or from a university in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). 

If you are a graduate from outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) you can access the university without the need to officially certify your degree, once the UCM has verified that your level of studies is equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a university in Spain. Access via this route does not in any case imply the official certification of your degree prior to starting your Masters course.
