The objectives of the Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management (MBA) are: to provide students with extensive and in-depth knowledge, so that they are capable of analyzing and resolving complex situations in the field of business management, relying on the development of theoretical, methodological and information analysis tools. Specifically, and in a special way, it is intended that the student achieve solid and practical knowledge at an advanced level in the following fields: organization and business management; accounting; finance; marketing; business taxation; commercial law; and quantitative methods for decision making. In addition to training in technical aspects, we also consider it important to transmit to students a greater sensitivity for the ethical aspects of the business function, the need for which has become especially clear as a result of the current global economic crisis. In addition, the fundamental rights and equal opportunities between men and women have been taken into account (Law 3/2007, of March 22), the principles of equal opportunities and universal accessibility for people with disabilities (Law 51/2003, of December 2) and the values of a culture of peace and democracy (Law 27/2005, of November 30). This principle affects both the organizational aspects of the degree and the infrastructure of the center where it is taught.

Admission Requirements

If you come from an EU country you must have a bachelor's degree from a Spanish university, or from a university in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

If you are a graduate from outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) you can access the university without the need to officially certify your degree, once the UCM has verified that your level of studies is equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a university in Spain. Access via this route does not in any case imply the official certification of your degree prior to starting your Masters course.
