The Doctoral Program in Biomedical Research is taught at the Faculty of Medicine of the UCM and currently has 168 students enrolled distributed in 10 lines of research that cover different areas of biomedicine and that bring together a total of 86 directly attached professors and 141 researchers from other Centers. About 50% of the theses are developed in the Faculty of Medicine and the remaining 50% is preferentially distributed among the Research Institutes of the associated Hospitals (IdiSSC, IiSGM, I+12), and to a lesser extent in OPIs and CSIC, CNIO and CNIC. The student has a wide training offer of seminars and free courses imparted by experts in different areas, which he can attend during the doctorate period.
