To give continuity to the teachings of Sociology and Public Opinion, and of related subjects existing in the degrees of Journalism and Audiovisual Communication, and in order to train researchers in the area in question, it is proposed to carry out a Master's Degree in Advanced Studies in Political Communication adapted to the regulations of RD 1393/2007 of October 29. The master is justified by the need to offer and guarantee specialized training in the analysis of interaction processes between civil society, the media and political actors, contributing to the comprehensive training of academic researchers in Political Communication with a specific to higher research.

Admission Requirements
If you come from an EU country you must have a bachelor's degree from a Spanish university, or from a university in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
If you are a graduate from outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) you can access the university without the need to officially certify your degree, once the UCM has verified that your level of studies is equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a university in Spain. Access via this route does not in any case imply the official certification of your degree prior to starting your Masters course.
