In the case of the UCM, there is also a long history of postgraduate training that has produced a considerable number of PhDs in Computer Science. The Doctoral Program in Computer Engineering has the primary objective of training researchers whose specialization focuses on one of the lines of work developed by the research groups that teach it. Additionally, it aims to encourage the participation of doctoral students in multidisciplinary teams and the performance of part of their research in prestigious external institutions. To complete your doctoral studies you will need to present a doctoral thesis consisting of an original work of research by the student in any field of knowledge.
