The Master's Degree in Theater and Performing Arts presents:
- An undoubted academic interest , as it is going to offer, for the first time, some teachings that are not offered in any of the existing degrees.
- An indisputable scientific interest , by being able to channel and centralize research on the history of the theater, the criticism of the dramatic text and the evolution and current state of the scenic fact. Also on this point, the cast of professors involved in the Master offers an undoubted guarantee, due to the numerous research projects in which they have been involved.
- An obvious professional interest as well. For the first time the teachings of the Theater are going to be imparted not only in the scope of the Schools of Dramatic Art, necessarily limited, given their singular statute that does not allow them to impart specialized teachings.

Admission Requirements
If you come from an EU country you must have a bachelor's degree from a Spanish university, or from a university in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
If you are a graduate from outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) you can access the university without the need to officially certify your degree, once the UCM has verified that your level of studies is equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a university in Spain. Access via this route does not in any case imply the official certification of your degree prior to starting your Masters course.
