The Faculty of Pharmacy of the UCM, located on the Moncloa campus, has the services and infrastructures necessary to teach the Degree in Pharmacy. In the buildings that make up the Faculty, the Prof. D. Antonio Doadrio López building and the Extension or Classroom building, the new Degree in Pharmacy, adapted to the teaching methodology of the European Higher Education Area, are taught. The pharmacist is the expert in the medicine, both in its chemical and biological aspects and in its health application. In addition, its multidisciplinary training has determined that numerous pharmacists have contributed to scientific development in fields as diverse as different branches of botany, chemistry, biochemistry, nutrition, food science, soil science, parasitology, microbiology, etc. Likewise, it is worth noting its extensive participation in the development of the University, the Higher Council for Scientific Research, the Pharmaceutical Industry and environmental management.
