The Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering: Process Engineering complements the studies of the Degree in Chemical Engineering, constituting a deepening and extension of the knowledge acquired in it, as well as the acquisition of adequate training for the continuation of doctoral studies in the Chemical Engineering area. The existence of advanced studies in Chemical Engineering as a continuation or together with first-level university studies is practically general in universities of all countries, although in different ways depending on the configuration of their own studies. Graduates will be able to apply the scientific method and the principles of engineering and economics, to formulate and solve complex problems in processes, equipment, facilities and services, in which matter experiences changes in its composition, state or energy content, characteristic of the chemical industry and other related sectors, including the pharmaceutical, biotechnological, materials, energy, food or environmental sectors.

Admission Requirements

If you come from an EU country you must have a bachelor's degree from a Spanish university, or from a university in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). 

If you are a graduate from outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) you can access the university without the need to officially certify your degree, once the UCM has verified that your level of studies is equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a university in Spain. Access via this route does not in any case imply the official certification of your degree prior to starting your Masters course.
