Research on the actors, events and processes developed within the International Society, were separated from other social sciences after the end of the First World War. For decades, the development that occurred in Western countries of International Relations had no correspondence in Spain due to the isolationism that dominated Spanish foreign policy, the incomplete economic development and the scant scientific and cultural openness that characterized the Franco era. However, the establishment of democracy first and incorporation into the European Community, later, achieved the full insertion of Spain in an international context that was subject to an intense process of globalization. The Degree in International Relations is about providing a structured, multidisciplinary and complete higher education for international specialists who are increasingly and urgently required by Spanish society and the rest of Europe. The Degree in International Relations is taught at the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology, located on the Somosaguas campus, where enrolled students will have access to all the material resources and services necessary for the development of the corresponding scientific and academic activities: library, multipurpose room, hall of degrees, computer rooms, laboratories, Wi-Fi connection, cafeteria dining room, etc.
