The purpose of the Master's Degree in Psychoanalysis and Theory of Culture teachings is for students to acquire advanced training, of a multidisciplinary nature, aimed at academic specialization and promoting their initiation into research tasks. Specifically, this master's aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills so that they can independently undertake research work in the field of Psychoanalysis as well as knowing how to apply said knowledge and skills in their own areas and those related to psychoanalytic theories and methods. Specific competences include:
Show a critical understanding of the main theories, principles and concepts of Psychoanalysis.
Demonstrate originality and creativity in the application of psychoanalytic knowledge to different cultural settings.
Knowing how to identify new problems and issues in the interdisciplinary relationships of Psychoanalysis.
Being able to understand, analyze and evaluate the contribution that Psychoanalysis has made to the health sciences and the culture of our time.
Know the conceptual transformations that psychoanalytic knowledge has operated in the field of humanities and social sciences.
