The UCM, aware of the enormous importance it has for students to receive a comprehensive and multidisciplinary education, and taking into account the growing complexity of the thought and legal structures that make up social reality at the state and global level, has implemented the new plan of studies of the Double Degree in Law - Philosophy , thus offering students the possibility of studying both degrees together. The new Study Plan consists of 432 ECTS organized in semesters. Throughout the six years in which these credits are distributed, students will receive the basic and compulsory training of the original Study Plans and, in the case of Law, they will graduate with the specialty of Public Law. This double degree qualifies for the exercise of the professions to which the Degree in Law as well as the Degree in Philosophy give access. As also happens in the case of students who have completed only one of these Degrees, it is necessary to have a specific master's degree to access certain higher-level professions.
