The purpose of the Double Degree in Management and Public Administration - Economy is to train economists with knowledge of analysis and public policy, specialized in activities of direction, management, advice, analysis and evaluation of the economy and, in particular, of its public sector, that promote the general interest in the different areas of public policy –especially in economic policy– and who have solid training in taxation, tax administration and budget management. The double degree offers the student a complete, multidisciplinary and well-structured training in two fundamental areas of the social sciences: Economics and Political Science and Administration. Likewise, it provides a solid base in the management of Statistics and social research techniques used by both disciplines, together with knowledge of Public Law and Sociology. The study plan consists of 360 credits, distributed in 10 semesters (5 years); includes External Practices as an optional subject, the mentionof Public Economy of the Degree in Economics and that of Tax Administration and Public Finance of the Degree in Management and Public Administration. The student will have the opportunity to develop part of their studies at other universities in Spain and Europe through the Sicue and Erasmus programs, with national and international agreements for this.
