Chemistry has been explained at the Complutense University for more than a century and a half. Within it, Technical Chemistry was developed as a specialty in the 1969 study plan. Since 1993, the  Degree in Chemical Engineering  has been taught. The current graduates in Chemical Engineering have a clear professional orientation, which means that a large part of the graduates find themselves working in a wide variety of industrial sectors, including engineering and consulting companies, manufacturing plants and marketing and sales departments. , as well as in the Administration, in R&D activities or in teaching. The Faculty of Chemical Sciences, located on the Moncloa campus, has the material resources and key services that allow all the planned training activities to be adequately taught: library, assembly hall, main hall, classrooms for degrees, research laboratories and practices, computer rooms, WiFi network, self-service cafeteria, etc.

Admission Requirements

To be admitted to this degree, you must meet the requirements for access to the University contemplated by current regulations: selectivity, International Baccalaureates, Validation agreements, access for people over 25 years of age, over 40 years of age, etc. You have all the details on the University Admissions page: ucm.es

In the case of non-native Spanish speakers, according to the Agreement of the Governing Council of January 29, 2019 (BOUC of February 7, 2019), which approves the Spanish language requirements for admission to Degree and Master's degree and linguistic/language skills, all students from non-Spanish-speaking countries or educational systems must prove a knowledge of Spanish according to the CEFR level B2, at the time of submitting the application for admission to the Degree.
