The Master's Degree in Logistics and Economic Management of Defense was born with the aim of covering a socially and economically relevant need, which is to provide the necessary knowledge so that the logistics, budgetary and contractual management processes linked to the field of defense are carried out in a the most efficient and effective way possible. The master is mainly aimed at both civil and military professionals located at intermediate levels, and who can reach high-level management positions, both in the Administration and in large companies related to the Defense Industry. It is also aimed at people interested in this field and who wish to develop their professional career in the subject of the master. For professionals belonging to the Armed Forces, it is about providing advanced training that, on the one hand, complements the experience acquired throughout their career; and, on the other, broaden the theoretical-practical knowledge in new areas of knowledge that are considered of maximum interest for an adequate development of the profession. The need to have a postgraduate degree for promotion to the position of Lieutenant Colonel/Frigate Captain, established by the new Military Career Law, provides the master with added interest for these professionals.

Admission Requirements

If you come from an EU country you must have a bachelor's degree from a Spanish university, or from a university in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

If you are a graduate from outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) you can access the university without the need to officially certify your degree, once the UCM has verified that your level of studies is equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a university in Spain. Access via this route does not in any case imply the official certification of your degree prior to starting your Masters course.
