The Master's Degree in Data Mining and Business Intelligence arises to provide students who are trained in it with additional preparation that integrates advanced statistical methods, computer science and techniques associated with business competition and marketing. Seeking to fill a void that at the moment and with many shortcomings only partially cover some business schools in Spain. What differentiates us from them is the rigor in the use of Statistical Techniques, without undermining the practical vision that they possess since it is contemplated to include in all the modules the participation of professionals from the business world who contribute experiences and solutions. specific problems to be discussed by our students. This degree has as background the titles of Expert in "Statistics for professionals" and "Expert in Data Analysis in Social and Market Research" that have been held for two decades in the School of Statistics and that were mostly taken by students from the area of social sciences.

Admission Requirements
If you come from an EU country you must have a bachelor's degree from a Spanish university, or from a university in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
If you are a graduate from outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) you can access the university without the need to officially certify your degree, once the UCM has verified that your level of studies is equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a university in Spain. Access via this route does not in any case imply the official certification of your degree prior to starting your Masters course.
