The Master's Degree in Energy is aimed primarily at graduates or graduates in Sciences, preferably Physics, Chemistry and Geology, as well as Engineers and Engineering graduates, who are interested in developing a professional activity in the field of energy, both in the private sector and public, whether in research, development, and innovation tasks, or in advisory, consultancy, design or technical assistance tasks. This is one of the fundamental objectives of this master, to train future teachers in those professionalizing aspects that allow them to carry out their activity in the professional field with the same guarantees with which they can carry out tasks in the academic or research field. This master is also aimed at Engineers and Engineering graduates who intend to develop their activity in the professional energy sector, whether in private companies or in public bodies and organizations. It is thought that today the energy sector represents one of the greatest poles of attraction for future professionals, given the undeniable role that this field will play in the development of today's society. It is evident that in the current state of affairs, the energy sector is going to require well-trained and adequately prepared professionals, and that it is going to offer, in return, numerous opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students, which is why, we believe, makes it necessary to implement training of this type in the field of education.

Admission Requirements

If you come from an EU country you must have a bachelor's degree from a Spanish university, or from a university in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

If you are a graduate from outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) you can access the university without the need to officially certify your degree, once the UCM has verified that your level of studies is equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a university in Spain. Access via this route does not in any case imply the official certification of your degree prior to starting your Masters course.
