The Master's Degree in General Health Psychology has as its purpose the training and specialization of trained professionals to carry out the evaluation, design and implementation of behavioral intervention programs for the prevention and treatment of health disorders, as well as the increase of the quality of life and the welfare. The specific objectives of the master program consist of training in:
- Psychological evaluation ‐ planning, use of instrument procedures specifics and data organization/integration.
- Practical application of psychological intervention techniques
- Design and implementation of preventive intervention programs and treatment, at individual, group and community levels, for health disorders specific and increased quality of life.
- Research of interventions, explanatory variables and optimization of results.
- Professional resource management and planning skills.

Admission Requirements
If you come from an EU country you must have a bachelor's degree from a Spanish university, or from a university in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
If you are a graduate from outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) you can access the university without the need to officially certify your degree, once the UCM has verified that your level of studies is equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a university in Spain. Access via this route does not in any case imply the official certification of your degree prior to starting your Masters course.
