The Master's Degree in Theoretical Physics of the Faculty of Physical Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid offers specialized training to those students who, after completing a degree in Physics or other related subjects, want to consolidate their knowledge or start a research career in this area. The master covers all current aspects of Theoretical Physics from Elementary Particles and Field and String Theory to Cosmology or Statistical Physics, passing through Quantum Computing, General Relativity or Mathematical Physics. The master is designed to provide a solid foundation for developing doctoral studies in cutting-edge research topics, and provides students with skills in the use of mathematical tools and advanced calculation methods that are extremely useful not only in Theoretical Physics but also in other fields.

Admission Requirements
If you come from an EU country you must have a bachelor's degree from a Spanish university, or from a university in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
If you are a graduate from outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) you can access the university without the need to officially certify your degree, once the UCM has verified that your level of studies is equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a university in Spain. Access via this route does not in any case imply the official certification of your degree prior to starting your Masters course.
