The objective that is intended with the presentation of the Master's Degree in Prevention of Occupational Risks , is to provide knowledge and skills, general and specific, that requires the development of professional activity in preventive matters of Safety at Work, Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomics. and Applied Psychosociology, in accordance with the regulations applicable to higher-level functions and qualifications described in Royal Decree 39/1997, of January 17, which approves the Prevention Services Regulations. It is therefore a professionalizing master, but without prejudice to the acquisition of academic and scientific knowledge for those students who wish to investigate and develop knowledge in the field of Occupational Risk Prevention. The total duration of the master's degree is three semesters. During the first academic year, the Common Part module and the Specialty in Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology are taught, and during the first quarter of the second academic year, the Specialties in Industrial Hygiene and Safety at Work are taught.

Admission Requirements

If you come from an EU country you must have a bachelor's degree from a Spanish university, or from a university in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). 

If you are a graduate from outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) you can access the university without the need to officially certify your degree, once the UCM has verified that your level of studies is equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a university in Spain. Access via this route does not in any case imply the official certification of your degree prior to starting your Masters course.
