Bioengineering program seeks to develop basic and applied research to solve health-related problems by training professionals with training in exact sciences (engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics), biological sciences (biologists) or health sciences (physicians, physiotherapists, pharmacists, etc.) others). The program is jointly offered by EESC, the Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos and the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, all at USP.
The São Carlos School of Engineering offers 11 "stricto sensu" graduate programs, with academic master's, professional master's and doctoral options, all free and with excellent evaluations by CAPES (MEC).
These programs are aimed at training teachers, researchers and professionals who are more specialized in their field. To support the development of graduate students' work, the School has advanced research laboratories, distributed across its 9 departments, and partnerships with leading international institutions.
