The Department of Accounting and Actuarial Science at FEA-USP includes undergraduate courses in Accounting Sciences and Actuarial Sciences (created in 2005), in addition to Master's and Doctorate courses in Accounting Sciences, serving a total of more than one thousand students.
The teaching staff is unique and made up entirely of PhD professors with extensive experience in the areas they teach. All of them have great insertion in Brazilian society, many of them renowned for great works, in addition to the insertion of a large part of the professors internationally, whether as professors, professionals or researchers.
In addition, the books produced by the professors of the Department of Accounting and Actuarial Science are a reference throughout Brazil, including in other universities and higher education courses. The Corporate Accounting Manual stands out, which has sold more than 400,000 copies since 1978.
The department's classes are taught with the aim of training students with a practical vision and critical analysis, capable of applying theory to real problems and seeking viable solutions.
