The Graduate Program in Professional Master of Technology and Innovation in Nursing was approved by CAPES in 2012 with Concept 4 and activities began in 2013.
Its target audience is workers who are nurses inserted in the job market.
It aims to train nurses to: Develop advanced practice, in order to consolidate the Unified Health System; Using Evidence-Based Practice and scientific approach to problem solving; Produce and disseminate knowledge and creative and innovative technologies that meet the needs of care, education, administration and health management, especially in nursing; Promote better integration between university and health services at different levels of health care.
The trained professional will have the title of Master of Science - Graduate Program in Professional Master of Technology and Innovation in Nursing.
The program will have the challenge of bringing innovative ideas to solve problems in professional practice, generating and applying technologies in the form of products and processes to improve the performance of Nursing and Health.
