The Public Relations course, at the Department of Public Relations, Advertising and Tourism (CRP), aims to train professionals who act as managers of organizational communication, in for-profit or non-profit institutions. It is understood that every organization, whether large or small, needs to communicate with its stakeholders (both employees and customers, suppliers and consumers), and the public relations professional's role is precisely in mediating these relationships, in attempt to reconcile often divergent interests.

Training takes place along three main axes: humanistic, communicational and technical-professional. Thus, initially, the student will have a great deepening in the areas of Human Sciences and Social Communication, to gradually become involved with disciplines and projects that are increasingly practical and focused on professional activities in public relations.
