The Graduate Program in Nutrition in Public Health (PPG-NSP), master's and doctorate, started in 2007, was evaluated, in the last quadrennium, with grade 7 by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel ( Capes ).

Its objective is to train human resources for teaching, applied research and for acting in public policies in food and nutrition, seeking to contribute to the advancement of science and to the promotion of the population's health.

For the regular annual process, three selection phases apply:

  • Written test in Portuguese, of eliminatory nature, and proficiency in the English language;
  • Analysis of research project and Curriculum;
  • Argument by the potential supervisor.
