Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Electronic Systems)

The design of integrated circuits, allied to the development of their manufacturing stages, is one of the areas of expertise of this engineer, which involves knowledge not only of electronic circuits, but also of physical phenomena. Another field of activity refers to the development of high-performance computers, which implies the design of more powerful computational architectures. The electronic systems engineer trained at the Polytechnic School is also qualified to design sensors and actuators in various applications. Other areas in which this engineer is able to work refer to digital signal processing and bio-informatics, in which engineering is used to study and control activities carried out by living beings.
