The main objective of the course is to train Science teachers for elementary education in public and private schools, but graduates can also work in high school, in the disciplines of Biology, Physics and Chemistry. To understand nature in all its aspects and teach about how it works, the course offers integrated training in Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Pedagogy. Professionals are also trained to work in museums, science centers, parks, NGOs, environmental education projects, scientific dissemination and in the production of didactic material.
The School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities (EACH) is one of the youngest schools at USP. It has a unique organizational structure and is not divided into academic departments. The aim of the School is to prepare professionals and researchers to develop a complex vision of society, culture and science.
