The course seeks to train professionals to design and develop aircraft, and it is worth mentioning that Brazil is one of the few countries that have the capacity to work in all phases of the development of this type of vehicle: design, construction and homologation. The course curriculum was designed to provide students with skills to work in different areas of aeronautical knowledge, such as aerodynamics, structures, flight dynamics and control, aeroelasticity, propulsion, etc. Topics are addressed from the design, construction, homologation and maintenance of aircraft, focusing on the practical part so that the student has the opportunity to carry out experimental tests in wind tunnels and use computer simulation and calculation programs for design.
