IQUSP Chemistry students can also deepen their training in the area of ​​Environmental Chemistry. Thus, in addition to the basic core disciplines, the student can attend disciplines to obtain specific complementary knowledge in the area of ​​Environmental Chemistry that can be applied in the discussion of subjects related to the chemical behavior of several species in the environment, their interactions and removal processes. In addition, disciplines addressing current environmental protection legislation are equally important, mainly for the aggregation of knowledge and its social dissemination.

The Bachelor of Chemistry course with an emphasis on Environmental Chemistry has the ideal duration of 10 semesters (with a minimum of 9 semesters and a maximum of 18 semesters), with a total workload of 2985 hours in mandatory disciplines and 1020 hours of work, totaling a workload of hourly rate of 4005 hours. 

The specific disciplines of this modality will be offered in the Night period. Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry students may also take these courses, subject to the availability of vacancies.
