The Graduate Program in Neurosciences and Behavior (NEC), headquartered in the Department of Experimental Psychology at the Institute of Psychology at USP, was an initiative of the interdisciplinary group of professors who founded the Nucleus for Supporting Research in Neurosciences and Behavior NAP/ NEC at USP in the early 1990s. This initiative opened the doors to the training of researchers and professors with an integrative vision of the different areas of Neuroscience, and with ways of thinking about their relationship with behavior. Its students must take courses from different university units, and can develop collaborative research projects between two or more laboratories at USP and at other national and international universities.
The Program has Profa. Dr. Daniela Maria Oliveira Bonci, Prof. Dr. Miriam Garcia Mijares, Prof. doctor André Frazão Helene and Ms. Luciana Santos Barbosa.
