Materials Science and Engineering program develops research for materials for use in engineering, development of polymers and functional ceramic materials, nanotechnology, laser applied to the processing and development of materials, tribology, fatigue and fracture, passive and active coating and new processes for the automotive industry, ceramics and furniture, among many others.
The São Carlos School of Engineering offers 11 "stricto sensu" graduate programs, with academic master's, professional master's and doctoral options, all free and with excellent evaluations by CAPES (MEC).
These programs are aimed at training teachers, researchers and professionals who are more specialized in their field.
