Active for over forty-five years, the PEQ-EP-USP — Graduate Program in Chemical Engineering at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo trains professors, researchers and professionals. The program has excellence recognized by CAPES and has grade 7 (the maximum grade). Throughout its history, more than 600 masters and 300 doctors were trained by PEQ-EP-USP.
The USP-EP-PEQ's main objective is to train people with broad expertise in their field of knowledge and leadership and innovation capacity, to actively participate in the production of knowledge aimed at current and future demands of Brazilian society, in the area of chemical engineering. To this end, PEQ-EP-USP has a sophisticated laboratory infrastructure, associated with nationally and internationally renowned research groups and centers, which often originated in the program itself.
