The Graduate Course in Dentistry (Oral Rehabilitation) was the first created at the Faculty of Dentistry of Ribeirão Preto (FORP-USP), in 1983, and for 30 years it has been contributing to the formation of highly qualified masters and doctors in the area. Headquartered in the Department of Dental Materials and Prosthesis, from the beginning it had a very comprehensive character with regard to the list of disciplines and lines of research.

The Graduate Program in Dentistry – Area of ​​Oral Rehabilitation, assuming the mission of the Public University, has as its general objective the training of qualified masters and doctors in the field of dentistry and areas related to Dentistry for teaching, scientific research and leadership in educational and health institutions. For this, it offers a solid scientific base and the development of a critical sense, with direct effects on teaching, research, extension, university administration, knowledge generation and technological development.
