The Bachelor of Chemistry course is full-time and lasts 4 years. Newcomers can graduate in the modalities Bachelor of Chemistry, Bachelor of Chemistry with qualification in Forensic Chemistry and Bachelor of Chemistry with qualification in Technological Chemistry, Biotechnology and Agroindustry. The three modalities have a minimum core of disciplines that is subdivided into a basic core and mandatory complementary disciplines. This minimum covers the contents considered essential for the formation of a Chemist, with theoretical and experimental subjects in General Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. The differentiation between the three modalities will be made in the 4th semester, having a specific core, divided over the two and a half years later of the Course,

The bachelor's student in Chemistry must also carry out four internships, which add up to 720 hours, in a research laboratory inside or outside the Department of Chemistry.
