Information Systems are systems responsible not only for managing important information for the company, but also for making decisions that can guarantee success and permanence in business. The Bachelor of Information Systems course provides a good mathematical background and a solid background in computing, mainly in programming techniques and methodologies for the development of these systems. In addition, it allows a strong background in business, vision of organizational dynamics, basic knowledge of legislation and entrepreneurship.

The course focuses on four areas: decision support systems; network management; web application engineering; and data science. The objective of these emphases is the deepening of subjects that are seen during the course, providing the student with specific knowledge of great value for their professional activity.
