The Graduate Program in Dental Sciences aims to train masters and doctors who have, in common: responsibility and ethical performance in teaching and conducting research; master the conceptual and technological procedures for the exercise with the quality of superior teaching and have foundation in research methodology subsidized by pertinent basic knowledge.
Both in the master's and in the doctoral courses, students should consolidate the common learning in the chosen concentration area in order to properly and competently locate the teaching-learning actions, of elaborating plans and carrying out research and, finally, of its publication and participation in the scientific, university and professional community.
The Master's is significantly focused on teacher and researcher training, linked to the FOUSP graduation through disciplines relevant to each area of concentration, while the Doctorate seeks improvement and excellence in the scientific production of common and specific dental knowledge in the area of concentration with training in guidelines associated with scientific initiation programs.
