Created in 2011, the Degree in Educommunication seeks to form a professional capable of acting as a manager of communication processes in the educational space, through a theoretical and practical deepening in the areas of Education and Social Communication.

In a context in which the presence and importance of the digital in society become ever greater, it is important that the individual not only learns to make a critical reading of the media, but that he is also capable of expressing himself and positioning himself through these media. tools. The educommunicator emerges, in this scenario, as a communications teacher, able to find creative solutions that improve educational processes, whether formal (schools), non-formal (developed by social organizations) or informal (implemented by means of communication aimed at education). and culture). In this sense, its role is precisely to shorten these distances, expanding access, understanding and social participation of groups that are often marginalized through the integration of education and communication.

Training in Educommunication offers the student broad knowledge of both educational theories and practices, as well as models and procedures involving media production and the use of technologies, in order to make them capable of carrying out activities of a transdisciplinary nature in teaching or coordination of field works.
