The Program is organized into two Areas of Concentration (AC) – Physiotherapy and Physical Education, each organized into Lines of Research (LP), with research projects and community outreach projects, always focused on the theme of Rehabilitation and Functional Performance, with multidisciplinary vocation, in constant reflection for possibilities of future expansion, adding other health professionals (Physical Educators, Speech Therapists and Occupational Therapists), who could consolidate new areas of interest.

The Lines of Research (LP) seek to approach the area of ​​professional training, relating to clinical practice and clinical and experimental research.

The disciplines can be offered in Portuguese or English, and aim to provide the necessary theoretical support for teaching and research activities, presenting sub-themes related to the lines of research, which contribute to the deepening of the scientific training of the graduate student.

It is important to highlight the close relationship between the faculty and the Undergraduate Courses in Physiotherapy and Physical Education and Sport offered on the Ribeirão Preto/USP campus. Additionally, there are ample opportunities for integration and collaboration with other health professionals, and access to a complete infrastructure for carrying out experimental studies and to different clinical environments for research, in the complex of Hospital das Clínicas de Ribeirão Preto and facilities of the Faculty of Medicine and from the School of Physical Education and Sport of Ribeirão Preto.
