The Graduate Program in Public Health (PPG-SP), masters and doctorate, started in 1970, aims to train professors and researchers with an emphasis on health policy and management; epidemiology of diseases, health problems and risk factors; entomology in public health; life cycles, health and society; organization of production processes and worker health; environmental health, livelihoods and sustainability.

It is considered a program of excellence having been evaluated, in the last quadrennium, with concept 6 by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes).

The selection of candidates for the Masters and Doctorate in the Public Health Program is annual and includes three steps: English test (sponsored by the Program or with presentation of proof of proficiency); curriculum and research project analysis; and candidate's statement.

Admission Requirements

Admission to the program will take place through a selection process standardized by a specific public notice to be prepared by the CCP and periodically published in the Official Gazette of the State of São Paulo and on the program's website on the internet.
