The Graduate Program in Nursing Management (PPGEn) became a program based on the consolidation of the area of ​​concentration “Administration of Nursing and Health Services” of the Graduate Program in Nursing at EEUSP, initiated with the ENO Department, in 1974, being a pioneer and unique for many years in the country, in the training of researchers in Nursing Administration, in the Master's (1974) and Doctorate (1989) courses. It was approved by CAPES on 11/30/2009 and became effective on 02/12/2010.

The Program responds to the need to train researchers, both masters and doctors; expansion and deepening of investigations in the area of ​​nursing and health management; and production of specific and innovative knowledge in this area.

The PPGEn is conceived according to the theoretical-conceptual axes: Technical-scientific, Socio-educational and Ethical-political. In this perspective, it develops four thematic cores, namely: Management, Education, History and Legislation and Ethics and Bioethics.
