The focus of ProMuSPP is the training of researchers able to analyze transformations in complex societies from an interdisciplinary perspective. In this context, the challenges of local development, political participation, public policies and collective phenomena that organize social and territorial dynamics and subjectivities in the processes of social change are discussed.
The program proposes to discuss new ways of working and thinking in these domains, considering particular processes marked by contradictions within the scope of relationships that, historically, have presided over social, economic, cultural and environmental ties, as well as the profound repercussions on the lives of individuals and social organizations. To this end, it presents four lines of research:
- Socio-environmental Dimension, Heritage and Territorial Policies;
- Education, Gender and Health;
- Public Policies and Participatory Management;
- Art and Society.
