Electrical Engineering program aims to train trained and specialized professionals for the productive, academic and technical-scientific sectors, in addition to contributing to the evolution of Electrical Engineering. His research is characterized around areas of concentration: signal processing and instrumentation, dynamic systems, electrical power systems and telecommunications. It has infrastructure and high-level professionals, in addition to a significant amount of financial resources for research.

The São Carlos School of Engineering offers 11 "stricto sensu" graduate programs, with academic master's, professional master's and doctoral options, all free and with excellent evaluations by CAPES (MEC).

These programs are aimed at training teachers, researchers and professionals who are more specialized in their field. To support the development of graduate students' work, the School has advanced research laboratories, distributed across its 9 departments, and partnerships with leading international institutions.
