The Graduate Program in Sustainability aims to promote scientific production, technological innovation and the training of human resources at master's and doctoral levels, under an interdisciplinary focus, with sustainability as its theme. The Program is aimed at building theoretical, methodological and empirical knowledge and developing the skills and abilities needed to build and advance a sustainability agenda in Brazil.
The combination of scientific, technological innovation and management approaches to the solution of socio-environmental problems in a single Graduate Program constitutes one of its differentials. It is hoped that this articulation, by encouraging the discussion of problems, will allow identifying issues relevant to the construction of a Brazilian environmental agenda and proposing responses supported by the promotion of sustainability.
