The Advertising and Propaganda course, from the Department of Public Relations, Advertising and Tourism (CRP), through a broad approach to aspects of marketing social communication, seeks to train critical professionals capable of acting both in the professional and academic environments, in activities of research and teaching.

The beginning of the graduation focuses on theoretical deepening in the areas of Social Communication and Human Sciences, establishing a dialogue between Advertising and other fields of knowledge such as Economics, Sociology, Philosophy, Psychology and Ethics. Over the semesters, the disciplines gain a more technical-professional character, focusing on themes of communication management and creative production.

Thus, the course initially includes disciplines such as Fundamentals of General Sociology and Communication, Study of Consumer Protection and Aesthetics in Advertising to later bring subjects such as Sales Promotion, Digital Photography and Visual Programming.

There is also the subject of Experimental Projects in Propaganda and Publicity at the end of graduation, which transforms the classroom into a real agency: in contact with real clients and their demands, students carry out a complete work, which starts from market analysis and goes through the development and presentation of pieces and media plans.
