The Bachelor of Chemistry course is full-time and lasts 4 years. Newcomers can graduate in the modalities Bachelor of Chemistry, Bachelor of Chemistry with qualification in Forensic Chemistry and Bachelor of Chemistry with qualification in Technological Chemistry, Biotechnology and Agroindustry. The three modalities have a minimum core of disciplines that is subdivided into a basic core and mandatory complementary disciplines. This minimum covers the contents considered essential for the formation of a Chemist, with theoretical and experimental subjects in General Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. The differentiation between the three modalities will be made in the 4th semester, having a specific core, divided over the two and a half years later of the Course.

The curriculum for qualification in Technological Chemistry, Biotechnology and Agroindustry also provides for a semester completely free of disciplines so that the student can dedicate himself to an internship of at least 450 hours in companies in the region to give students experience in the areas of Biotechnology and/or Agroindustry.
