The Graduate Program in Production Engineering at the University of São Paulo – called by the acronym PPGEP – EPUSP – has a very rich history, detailed in previous reports, which began almost 50 years ago. Being one of the pioneers in the country, PPGEP-EPUSP has been one of the main responsible for the creation of competences in research and graduate studies in Production Engineering in Brazil.
Being one of the oldest Graduate Programs in Production Engineering in the country, the historical importance of the PPGEP over the last five decades is noteworthy, in terms of generating human resources with excellent academic training and inducing the growth of this area in the country.
