Mechatronics is a key technology for increasing the competitiveness of processes and manufactured products, as it can help in their development aimed at people's well-being in a sustainable way. A mechatronic system is composed of a process or a product equipped with sensors that collect data, which are processed and evaluated through programs implemented in microprocessed electronic systems. Through these evaluations, decisions are taken and the system can be changed and controlled in the most diverse actions, such as its movement, flow or temperature. Its applications can meet the demands of several technological areas, such as: robotic systems, vehicles, automation of industrial plants, chemical processes, among many others.
