The Degree in Geosciences and Environmental Education 's objective is to train professionals through a solid theoretical and by teaching practice, able to work in the production and dissemination of scientific-technological knowledge in the educational field, in school and non-school contexts in the area of Earth Sciences. These professionals will be able to exercise the teaching function within the Basic Education in order to work in school education, in primary, secondary and technician in the disciplines of Sciences, Natural Sciences, Exact and Earth Sciences and interdisciplinary projects and activities focused on Environmental Education. They may act in planning, execution, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of projects and out-of-school educational experiences with educational activities in museums, sciences, environmental education centers of companies, parks, conservation units and non-governmental organizations.
